You’ve asked us to:

• deliver services that are accessible to all our residents
• recognise the need to value ‘difference’ when delivering our services
• embed our core values into day to day services

We completed our best value review looking at equality and diversity, with an emphasis on how we deliver our services to our residents and employment practices to our employees.

We used the feedback from this best value review to produce a set of service standards covering equality & diversity. You can see these standards using the link below. These standards will allow us to report on, and you to judge, how well we are performing.      

We have also been collecting up to date information on all our residents and as part of this you will have received a ’customer profiling’ questionnaire in the post. If you’ve not returned this, please do so. If you’ve thrown it away, don’t worry, you can contact us on the number below and we’ll send you another.  Those of you who haven’t yet returned your form may receive a phone call or visit from us. Currently 82% of you have returned these questionnaires.

By returning your questionnaire you’ll be giving us the information to help us deliver services more effectively.  For example, we can look at the categories of residents who are unhappy with our responsive repair service and then target our resources to deliver improvements.

This information will be held on our housing management system and will be kept whilst you are a tenant with us. If, for whatever reason, you cease to be a tenant and our need for your data has expired, it will be deleted.
