Sovereign Kingfisher has excellent working relationships with a number of contractors and kitchen and bathroom refurbishments are undertaken by Kincraig Construction Ltd from Camberley and our annual heating upgrade programme is run by  A.P. Faulkner (Heating) Ltd, from Reading.

Resident involvement is key to providing our modernisation programme with residents choosing their own colours and designs for kitchens and bathrooms.  Involving tenants means that our future programmes can be made more cost effective, allowing us to carry out even more work to your homes.  We have been particularly pleased with the very positive feedback we get from residents about the services we provide.

Sovereign Kingfisher also carries out a huge amount of work for residents on cyclical and planned repairs, spending approximately £1million a year.  This work includes essential life saving work such as gas safety checks, which we must legally do once a year in all our properties, to help prevent carbon monoxide posioning.  Other key safety checks that are carried out are electrical testing and smoke detector testing.  We also carry out a programme of internal and external decorations.

CYCLICAL AND PLANNED WORKS

The Association also complete approximately £1million worth of cyclical repairs each year which includes works such as gas checks, electrical testing, smoke detector testing, and internal & external decorations.
